Como decía Jackson Pollock la pintura tiene vida propia. En mi trabajo trato de provocar a través de un proceso azaroso, que la obra surja como algo ajeno y que al mismo tiempo sea un reflejo de mi personalidad. Raramente tengo un proyecto claro del resultado que busco. Debo estar atento a las imágenes que provoco y reconocer de manera intuitiva e inconsciente aquellas que de alguna manera me satisfacen. Para ello hago los cambios necesarios, destruyendo y añadiendo elementos, favoreciendo ese proceso que sucede de forma natural y en el que intervengo de una manera limitada y respetuosa. Aunque en mis cuadros convivan a menudo formas abstractas y elementos figurativos, intento siempre expresar sentimientos, buscando la intemporalidad y la independencia de la obra respecto de referencias a una realidad concreta.
As Jackson Pollock said, painting has a life of its own. In my work, I try to incite my feelings through a random process. The work arises as something alien, which at the same time, is a reflection of my personality. I rarely have a clear projection of the result I am looking for. I must be attentive to the images I provoke and recognize both intuitively and unconsciously those that somehow satisfy me. For this, I make the necessary changes, constantly destroying and adding elements, favoring the process that happens naturally, in which I intervene in a limited and respectful way. Although abstract forms and figurative elements often coexist in my paintings, I always try to express feelings to encapsulate a concrete reality, seeking timelessness and independence for the work.
